About Bulgari

Founded in Rome in 1884 by Sotirio Bulgari, the house is primarily a jewelry maker but has spent the past two decades building one of the most respected men's watch programs in luxury. The pivot started with the 2002 acquisition of Daniel Roth, Gerald Genta, and movement specialist Manufacture de Haute Horlogerie, giving Bulgari its own complications atelier in Le Sentier.

The Octo Finissimo collection has set seven world records for thinness since 2014, including the thinnest mechanical watch (1.80mm), the thinnest tourbillon, the thinnest minute repeater, the thinnest perpetual calendar, and the thinnest automatic. The Octo case — a Genta-derived integrated-bracelet design with multiple geometric facets — is one of the most distinctive sports-watch silhouettes in production.

Other lines include the Serpenti (the brand's snake-bracelet jewelry watch in continuous production since 1948), the Lvcea (women's contemporary dress), and the Aluminium revival of the brand's 1990s steel-and-rubber sports watch. Pricing runs $3,000 to $250,000+, with most Octo Finissimo references in the $13,000–$25,000 range.
